Chinese Language Leadership Forum
(Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) — In an era shaped by Globalisation and Artificial Intelligence, Chinese education has evolved beyond language instruction — it has become a key driver of cultural continuity and global competitiveness.
The “Han Hua 20th Anniversary · Chinese Language Leadership Forum”, jointly organised by the Malaysia Education Empowerment Organisation (MEEO) and International Han Institute, was successfully held on 2 November 2025 at Universiti Malaya (UM).

As one of the Supporting Organisations, the One Belt One Road Certified Institute (OBORCI) was honoured to have its President, Dr. Kevin Ng, invited as a distinguished guest.
Dr. Kevin Ng joined prominent education experts from Malaysia and China in exploring the future directions and internationalisation of Chinese education, offering insights into integrating education, culture, and industry for sustainable growth.

The forum featured in-depth sessions on:
✅ Global pathways for Certified International Chinese Teachers
✅ Innovative teaching approaches for children’s Chinese education
✅ Collaboration models between education institutions and cross-border platforms
✅ Resource sharing and talent development in the education sector

In his address, Dr. Kevin Ng highlighted that educational cooperation plays a vital role in fostering mutual understanding under the Belt and Road Initiative. Moving forward, OBORCI will continue to advance education internationalisation, strengthen university–enterprise collaboration, and actively promote ESG and SDGs principles within education and cultural development.
Through this engagement, the Institute reaffirmed its mission as a bridge connecting education and cultural exchange between China and Malaysia — paving the way for a more inclusive, sustainable, and globally connected learning ecosystem.
