(Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) – The One Belt One Road Certified Institute (OBORCI) Recently Embarked on a Delegation Visit to China, Further Strengthening Collaboration Between Malaysian and Chinese Institutions in Both Education and Industry.
From 6 to 10 June 2025, OBORCI, Together with the Team from Southern University College, Engaged in a Series of Exchange Activities Focusing on “Joint Student Training Programmes,” “Academic Pathway Collaboration,” “Faculty Exchanges,” and “University–Enterprise Partnerships.”
1. Education–Industry Alignment
During the Visit, OBORCI Engaged with Academic and Business Representatives to Explore Pathways for Aligning Curriculum with Industry Demands, Creating Opportunities for Talent Development, Internships, and Employment.
2. Partner Institutions
The Delegation Visited Five Institutions: Shantou Preschool Education College Shanwei Polytechnic, Lufeng Technical School, Guangzhou Transport Vocational School, Zhongkai University of Agriculture and Engineering. Each Institution Showcased Its Distinct Academic Strengths and Expressed Strong Interest in Collaborating with Malaysian Universities and Enterprises.
3. Building Collaborative Platforms
This Exchange Not Only Enhanced the Flow of Educational Resources Between China and Malaysia but Also Created New Opportunities for Industry to Engage in Talent Development. OBORCI Will Continue to Serve as a Bridge for University–Enterprise Collaboration, Fostering Joint Research, Academic Mobility, and Sustainable Talent Pipelines for Future Development.
