(Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) – Jointly organised by the China–Malaysia Cross-Border E-Commerce Association and the Beijing Vocational College of Labour and Social Security, the 2nd China–Malaysia E-Commerce Forum 2025 was successfully held at Universiti Malaya.
With the theme “AI-Driven Digital Chain Linking China and Malaysia,” the forum focused on the integration of artificial intelligence, innovation in cross-border e-commerce, and emerging models of digital economic collaboration between the two nations.

As one of the supporting partner, One Belt One Road Certified Institute (OBORCI) was represented by its President, Dr. Kevin Ng, who was invited to deliver a keynote address.
In his remarks, Dr. Kevin Ng emphasised that the convergence of AI and digital intelligence technologies has become a powerful driver of China–Malaysia cooperation in both economic development and education.

Looking ahead, OBORCI will continue to foster meaningful partnerships between universities and enterprises within the frameworks of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), promoting the creation of a sustainable and inclusive digital ecosystem.

The forum brought together representatives from government bodies, academia, and industry leaders to explore cutting-edge topics such as artificial intelligence, cross-border commerce, and digital transformation. Participants expressed optimism that AI-driven collaboration will open new opportunities for innovation and mutual growth between China and Malaysia.

Moving forward, OBORCI remains committed to its mission as a bridge and platform, deepening the integration of Education, Technology, and Industry, and supporting both nations in advancing towards a smarter and more sustainable future.
